At the sanctuary, we work long days outside all through the year. On the coldest days, the soup bubbling away on the wood stove is the best thing ever, it can be the spark we need to get through. We wanted to extend this feeling to you and to your friends who you may send the soups to.
We’ve heard our friends tell us that when they get home from a busy day or when they need a lift, putting one of our soups on the stove and letting the house fill up with the alluring aromas is like a warm hug, like a bowl of nourishing affirmation when they need it most.

We started making soup mixes for a friend in need who lived far away, something to mail when we couldn’t be there in person to help. This led into a way that we can support the sanctuary. It has become a favourite thing of ours to imagine soup exchanging hands and warming hearts. Here is a combo of some of our homegrown herbs such as nettle, lovage & rosemary mixed with a loving blend of legumes, grains & spices, presented to you with Yan’s artwork in carefully selected oxo-degradable packaging. You can spruce your soup mixes up with lots of veggies if you want, I’m sure you will find your own way to enjoy them. They can be a base for your own creative soup endeavour or enjoyed as is for an easy & quick meal for you or to share. We hope you enjoy eating and sharing them and looking at the gorgeous artwork. We have enjoyed creating this and now we get to send it out to the world for all!
